Add AYA to ChatGPT
AYA isn’t in ChatGPT’s app directory yet, so you add it once as a custom app. You only need AYA’s server address.

These steps keep the install tied to one user, one workspace, and one canonical AYA installation record.
Step 01
Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT
On ChatGPT web, open Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and switch on Developer mode. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may need to allow custom apps first.
Step 02
Create the app
In Settings → Apps, choose Create. Name it Ask Your Audience, paste https://mcp.askyouraudience.ai/mcp, set Authentication to OAuth and choose Create.
Step 03
Sign in and allow access
ChatGPT opens AYA. Sign in and choose Allow access. Open a new chat, select AYA and ask: “Which audiences do I have in AYA?”

Good prompts tell the model what decision is being made, which audience it cares about, and what kind of recommendation should come back.

Troubleshooting and support
If the install looks healthy but the connector is still failing, check the auth state and reconnect from the same workspace.
AYA says it can’t connect to this app
Delete the AYA app in ChatGPT and create it again with only the server address and OAuth, leaving the advanced OAuth settings empty.
I can’t find Create or Developer mode
Your ChatGPT plan or workspace has to allow custom apps. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, ask an admin to enable them.
Connections doesn’t show Connected
It changes to Connected after ChatGPT first opens AYA in a chat. Start a new chat, select AYA, send a prompt, then choose Check connection.
